I wrote novels for 20 years. Never got anywhere. But my one self-published book, Great Big Something, is being re-edited, and will be out sometime this year as an e-book on all the major sites. In the meantime, I am trying to be a screenwriter, and having some success. I also have a blog, All Around Records, look for it in the blog section. This is where I went after Tone and Groove folded in 2010. I write record reviews, mostly indie rock.
I have only one influence right now, for screenwriting, Robert Towne, who my professor at the screenwriting class I took last year told me that my work resembles. And i do like Chinatown, in spite of the ending, and the criminal who directed it. So movies that i like Body Heat, Almost Famous, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Clueless, and in a nod to my old home in Red Bank, NJ Chasing Amy.
