Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Dr. Foust Mead, president of Shared Knowledge is a recognized writer and advisor on health and wellness concerns of the global workforce; school reform; children, teen and young adult contemporary issues; and socio-economic policies affecting international, global, local communities to include companies and individuals.
Shared Knowledge was founded in 1994 and operates globally. In addition to her fifteen years experience in the USA, Dr. Foust Mead has extensive experience in Europe, South and Central America. Such global outreach has lead to interviews from journalists in England, the Netherlands, Brazil and the US media.
Although Dr. Foust Mead can look to several million dollars in grants awarded to her clients due to her skillful writing, Dr. Foust Mead considers these highlights of her career as well: she has worked with schools to achieve solid gains in standardized testing, and she has developed strategies for school improvement. She is currently guiding a troubled inner-city comprehensive high school through the accreditation process after a ten year hiatus.
She has presented at the European Conference on Research Methodologies for Management and Business Studies, England; advised the Nobel Laureate, International Peace Bureau, Switzerland; served as the International Adult Development Trainer for NORAGS and thusly traveled throughout Europe for the organizational development of its volunteers; and served as Resource Expert at the 1995 US White House Conference for Small Business.
