I was born in Kentucky, but sweltered in the Florida heat for the last few years. I returned to Kentucky in the summer of '08.
I've held many jobs out of curiosity, boredom, and the persuit to find something with some meaning. Currently, I deliver pizzas and newspapers, but have done such things as being a cook, cabinet installer, office clerk, CNA--just to name a few--as well as took some nursing and computer repair classes.
A few years ago the writing bug came back to me, after being mostly gone for years, and I started writing as a hobby again. My first completed work is also my longest to date, 'Plague', which can be downloaded from my website, along with some other stuff I've put together on my own. Then I began to wonder if I could write for a living, which has been a dream of mine since the age of 12 or so, and got serious about my writing.
Going through my old rejection slips from 'Weird Tales' and 'Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction & Fantasy' from when I was 16-19 was also sobering. If only I'd not stopped writing back then...
I'm currently working on my second novel 'The Last Stop' as well as various short stories.
