Retired from the U.S.Department of Veterans Affairs after 33 years as a Counseling Psychologst and later Chief of Vocational and Rehabilitation and Counseling.

Background Information

Following retirement I felt the need to fill a void, so I wrote my first book: The Man from Bandera. The story of a troubled VietNam veteran who finds himself involved in scandalous affairs in a small town near Vicksburg,  Mississippi.

As a result of my research on Bandera, Texas, I was impressed with the story of camels in Texas during the Civil War, and wrote my second novel:  The Camel Boy, a novel about the Civil War.

My latest novel: Scopophilia was based on my long time interest in the Jack the Ripper Murders in London.  As a Ripperologist, I read most of the books available books on the subject, and noted that none of the researchers ever suggested that the murders could have been committed off-site and returned to the scene of the crime.  My story line gives a different twist  to the identity of the murderer and the conspiracy to kill whores in Whitechapel.

Scopophilia offers  contemporary  themes of  mystery, murder and race in the life of the main character a Psychiatrist from New York.
