When I was younger I loved it when I got a clean, new writing tablet and a freshly sharpened pencil. I have written stories since I was five-years old. Life took over and I was forced to quit writing to care for my sick husband and raise my son.  My childhood was a hard time for me,  to say the least and I will write about the challenges that I faced when God is ready for me to do so.

As you know by now, writing has been a driving force in my life for years. My greatest desire is to write Christian fiction that leaves the reader uplifted and craving more! I believe this is a calling for me and I attempt with every word I write to make sure the reader feels the time spent reading my word was well worth it.

I am working on a Historical Christian Romance at  this  time, but I write monthly for an online magazine called Heartbeat. www.heartbeatthemagazine.com, My column is called "Why me Lord?"  The articles I submit there are non-fiction and I reach deep within myself as I write each word. The name of my book is Mountain Memories and will be under consideration with a publisher just as soon as I finish revisions.

My life has been a rollercoaster ride, with joy, pain, grief, abuse and even romance blended throughout. I have been married for 29 years to the same man. We were blessed to have both a son and daugther, but only our son survives today.

I have discovered that I am a Method Writer, so much so that the trials of my life give me a source of emotion that flows onto a blank page. Whether it be a story of fiction or a non-fiction story, I want my life experiences to help someone else. My greatest desire is to bring joy or understanding to my readers.
