I have numerous interests reflected in my series 'The Telefax Triogy' which satirizes all aspects of modern life.
Creativity and attention to detail is at the heart of everything I do whether it's a commercial, non-profit or purely artistic project. My husband, Timothy Victor Richardson, and I have shared a media/communications business called ProseWorks(tm) Associates since 1992.
Since 2004, I've produced a public affairs television show for the largest chamber in Maine. I've long been fascinated by language and have conducted communications with people for whom English is a second language. As the Communications Director of an export management firm, I conducted cross cultural dialogues with business leaders in 23 countries after which I wrote "Taking Your Business Global" (Career Press, 1997).
In 1999, while Marketing Director for historic Deertrees Theatre and Cultural Center, I developed a promotional film about the theater and have been working in film ever since with most of my films inspired by the extraordinary poetry of Timothy Richardson. See below for some examples of my work in visual poetry.
In late 2000, I started cultural inventory work that led to the creation of the Western Maine Cultural Alliance providing umbrella support for arts and culture in Western Maine. Our web site has searchable data bases, exhibiting artists, folklore including downloadable audio files from oral history projects and more. www.westernmaineculture.org
I love the theater and have produced, directed and acted in original plays for stage and cable television. Four of my plays are available at www.productionscripts.com/toni-seger-m-52.html
