Background Information

After numerous roles as daughter, sister, wife, mother, university student, grandmother, aunt, widow, secretary, school teacher, business woman, volunteer, traveller, photo hobbyist, and musician, I'm grateful for a very good life.

One day, a few years ago, I found myself in Ireland, and discovered it to be a beautiful land with wonderful people. After numerous trips there, I have written a fictional story based upon my impressions and my imagination. July 2008, marks the publication of Shannon Song.

Life's interesting. Keep on plucking 'til time and times are done.'

Accomplishments

Certified teacher of speech and language disorders and elementary classes K-6. Have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to Laotian, Vietnamese and Hispanic individuals.

Additional Information

I enjoy music and play piano for own enjoyment. Also I am trying to learn to play a small Celtic harp. Franz Joseph Haydn is my all time favorite composer; and I 'love' Haydn's admirer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A favorite recording is Cleo Laine doing Mozart's Turkish Delight. At present, I volunteer at the Christian mission, JAARS in the Vernacular Media Services department.
