I am an animator-turned-writer with a love of good fantasy/dark fiction stories that serve as a metaphor for the human spirit.
Inspired as a youngster by special effects wizard Ray Harryhausen, I embarked on a hobby of stop-motion photography that expanded into a career in model animation and special effects. My fascination with the technique, combined with explorations into the occult, led to the writing of 'In Darkness it Dwells', my first novel, published by Medallion Press in 2006.
Working for the animation industry also led to the writing of various animation projects, including ‘Faela: A Fairy’s Tale’, which was first a screenplay, and is now adapted as a delightful children’s fantasy novel.
A professional sculptor, I make my living as a prototype artist, and have created the master patterns for many action figures, toys, and collectible 'garage' model kits.
