A British writer living a great deal in France. I love medieval literature and hope that my poetry shows some of the vigour of the early language. Apart from that I admire the novels of George Eliot, among many, but will read whatever comes my way.

I had my first verse play, The Crane, produced on BBC Radio 3 in 1992. Since then I've had a steady interest in my creative writing. My first novel was published by Zander eBooks, now by Synergebooks and Publish America, and it won an EPPIE award in 2003.

Could you use the services of a writer and editor? I have experience of many fields including the environment, agriculture, biotechnology, business communications and socio-economics. I have worked for organizations ranging from international level – the EU, for example – to national (the British Council and the French Ministry of Education) as well as for publishers and individuals. In addition I have years of experience in teaching English to non-native speakers and am used to helping them to sharpen and improve their written assignments.
