I live in Yorkshire and first started publishing modern romantic suspense in the UK. My real love has always been for historical romance, though, and my academic background in medieval history led me to offer A Knight's Vow to Kensington Publishing in New York. This in turn proved to be the first of several 'Knight' books for them (another, A Knight's Captive, came out in 2009 and the next - A Knight's Enchantment - is due in 2010).
I also enjoy writing books set in the ancient world, of which Flavia's Secret, set in Roman Britain, was the first to be published (Bookstrand, 2008), with Blue Gold (ancient Egypt) and Bronze Lightning (Bronze Age Greece and Britain) following in 2009.
My romantic suspense books include Voices in the Dark, set in Italy, and Night of the Storm and The English Daughter, both set in the Greek Islands. There also two shorter, lighter romantic suspense stories: A Secret Treasure (Rhodes, Greece) and the forthcoming Holiday in Bologna (Italy).
