Copper Eyes (formerly titled Tails, You Lose) is my second novel. Having worked at the Dallas County Sheriff's Department over thirty years, I decided on a thriller using the Department as a backdrop. I figured I could draw on my nineteen years of working crime scenes to make the book as realistic as possible.
For a tamer, shorter read, check out my first novel Emerald Reflections. It is a romance set in Maine and was co-written with my long time friend Barbara Carraway. It may serve as a getaway of sorts.
A few excerpts from reviews of Emerald Reflections:
"The authors have done a great job transporting the reader to a gentler, kinder place, populated with generous and down to earth people." ~Denise Clark, The Road to Romance.com
it is a "... picturesque locale with endearing characters." ~Harriet Klausner, ReaderToReader.com
