I grew up in a small town in WV, but was always different than most.  My head always in the clouds, I could never get enough of Star Trek and the original Battlestar Galactica.  I started writing at 13, and while most of what I write is poetry, the inspiration for "The Journey to Tarah" hit me in the early 90's.  It took me a long time to finish the novella, but once I did, I realized it is by far my best work.

I have had various poems published in anthologies through poetry.com, and back in the 80's, the Internationl Library of Poetry.

My goal is for my novella to be noticed to become a movie. A college English professor said it reads like a movie, and with so little good and original sci-fi coming out these days, I am certain "Journey" would fit the bill.
