Bill Heffner is a Law Enforcement Official who has been serving since 1976 and had the opportunity to serve as a police officer and corrections officer from 2001 - 2012.  Bill Heffner presently works full-time as a State Corrections Officer on the Midnight Shift at a local Prison and when he can find time he shares his musical talents doing his Elvis Tribute Act at class reunions, proms, parties, nursing homes and wherever someone wants to just remember Elvis.

Bill Heffner believes everyone has the potential for good and does his best to inspire and encourge all to pursue their potential, because any amount of light can kill the darkness and he wants to live in a world that shines.

Police Officer 1976 - 12/31/2012.  Full-Time Corrections Officer 1996 - Present.  Elvis Presley Tribute Artist 1967 - present  5.  Published Award Winning Poetic author  1966 - present. 6. Published songwriter 1988 - present, BMI member.

Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 and 6 of the Kings James Version of the Holy Scriptures says; - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. -

Over the years Bill has learned through scripture that all good gifts come from God. Bill understands that his poetic talent or any talent he may have is not given so he can be blessed, but to be a blessing to others, so Bill uses his talents to show God that he appreciates the talents God has given him.

Bill hopes his poetry will ignite a desire in you to seek out a personal relationship with God almighty through His Son Jesus Christ. If you already have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, then he prays his poetry will encourage you to continue to shine the light of Jesus by sharing your talents to bless others. And don't forget, these poems have been inspired as a result of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was the one knocking at the door of Bill Heffner's heart. It took Bill a while to answer the door, but when Bill did, the devil ran out and Jesus came in.

The reason that Christianity is the best friend of government is because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Jesus Christ used Tri-City and Pastor Rocky to increase my faith. This site is worth checking out and if you are in the Canton Michigan area it will be worth stopping in, getting Connected and being blessed.
