Herb Torrens has been a professional writer since 1984. He has written two novels and a screenplay. “Paraffin Chronicles” was published in 2002 and is an autobiographical sketch of surfing in the golden years (1960s). “Dance of the Blue Chameleon” was written in 1999 but not published until 2012. Both are available on line a Trafford.com, B&N, and Amazon.com. “The Bells of Santa Ynez” is a screenplay based on a story by D.B. Rullo and is still being circulated.
Torrens has made a living at the keyboard for more than two decades as a journalist and corporate communications specialist. He currently writes for The Redmond Media Group, and is the principal of Herb Torrens Media Communications (HTMC), a media content shop specializing in Web and digital media. He is also involved in consulting role with a film project underway called “22nd Street.”
