Some of the major influences in my life were Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, you name it, I loved them all.But the  first time I saw Heart in concert, I knew I had to be a rock star when I grew up! The way Nancy Wilson jammed on her electric guitar, blew me away! I got my first guitar when I was fifteen, I am now 44, I didn't become a rock star, but I still play guitar to this day, and I have instilled the love of music in my children. Sometimes we spend hours singing and playing our guitars together, and  other various instruments we have around the house. I often refer to them as my "little rockers". One day when I was vacuuming the house, out of the blue, I started making up rhymes using different musical instrments, and characters after my children and their friends. By the end of the day, my first book was  written.Since then, I have written six more books in the series, and my house is as clean as a whistle!

My first book in The Little Rockers Club series has been published! It's official release date is June 2, 2009.It has inspires me to actually start a real Little Rockers club, where we will meet once a month to learn about musical insruments, play games,and other activities that will be involved with muscic,in a fun and creative way!

I have been building my presales since March, which include an interview on a local radio show called The Marc Bernier Show. I had a very successful launching of my book party a few days after the interview, and have gotten my books placed in several of the book stores and muscic stores around town. My publishing company, just set up three book signings for me! The first one is July 11th from 1-3pm at Barnes and Noble Colonial Plaza in Orlando,Fl. The second one is Aug.1st at Borders Express in Seminole Towne Square from 2-4pm in Sanford,Fl. and the third is Barnes and Noble, from 12-2pm Aug. 8th in Daytona Beach, Fl. I'm really excited!
