I find as I get older that I can remain young at heart, but I can't do a thing about the ugly part. So I accept the wrinkles and the grey stubborn hair, and keep writing kids books, with childlike flair.

Growing up in a family with six brothers had it's challenges. I would not trade one day of my childhood because it has made me who I am today. I am not perfect, but I am happy with my life and my future. I give God, my Heavenly Father, all the credit for my accomplishments. He has been with me every step of the way.
I have followed the typical path of marriage, three children, grandchildren, two cats, three dogs and so on. We live on a small hobby farm and help our daughter raise her alpacas. Shearing the animals and learning to process the fiber has taken some of my time away from writing but I have many stories to share with children and look forward to writing and illustrating more books in the future.
I have always wanted to be a writer of children's books. I only wish I had made the decision years ago to follow that dream and if I don't sell but one book, I will be forever grateful to the one person who thought it worth their time and effort.
