I am a dedicated writer & poet, with many credits to my name. "The purpose of Art is to awaken." And believing this, I see how the process crosses over into the spiritual.I have many new irons in the fire.

I was born and raised in Virginia, first the Blue Ridge Mountain region, and later in the northern suburbs of Washington D.C. Spent many years in California, and on the road -- I've lived in many regions of America. Meditation and studies in literature and comparative religion have been major influences in my life; as well as fatherhood and writing. I won a poetry contest once, another honorable mention, and was the featured poet in HUMMINGBIRD (Magazine of the short poem) a few years ago. I rarely submit and currently use AuthorsDen almost solely for that purpose. I have a degree from Interstate 40 East & West, as well as honorary degrees from Interstate 10 and Highway 101 in California. My new website should be up and running soon: www.Sleepers-In-Translation.org
Birth Place: Radford, VA
Accomplishments: I survived my youth. Survived my ego, so far... Have worked with my hands for most of my life. Writing has been an integral part of my life.

As I mentioned, though funny and even absurd, their are points if true profundity, the seriousness escaping, as do ou...
