Background Information

I am clearly not a professional writer but I do enjoy writing and reading. I also enjoy passing some time playing my guitar.

I retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Air Force and am very proud of the nearly 38 years I was privileged to serve. During this time I enjoyed travelling to many places in the world. I spent almost six years of this time as an aerial gunner on the AC 130 A(Spectre) . I fondly refer to this time as "the best of my whole career."

I completed a Doctorate in Theology in 2005 and am involved in ministry to the military.

I am happily married and the father of four children and ten grandchildren (nine living).

Much of my poetry revolves around my background as a proud American, proud minister, proud father and grandfather.
