I am married, living in Manchester, NH. My husband also writes poetry and prose. We have two "Kids with fur coats", our cats Chicklet and Pierre Peppercorn. They appear often in my poetry.
I wrote my first poetry in relation to 911...was taken by the story of Victim#1 Mychal Judge, and wrote my first poem about him. I wrote very sparsely untli 2009 when I was downsized from my job. I needed a way to vent my frustrations and so it began...I have written about childhood experiences, my cats, frustrating experiences and what would be mudane daily events and some not so mundane. I like to have fun with some of my poetry so expect some unexpected twists and turns.
I have read my poetry at local open mics, and was invited to read at the Farmington Public Library writers Group's Night of the Wolves Fundraiser.
