An Egyptian-born writer, I have obtained my degree in English Literature in 1983, from the University of Alexandria. I was influenced greatly by John Donne, the poet of the Metaphysical School. As a bilingual, I was influenced by the Arabic poetry of Gibran.
I admired many Western thinkers like Ralph Waldo Emerson, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde and Einstein (above all). My favorite philosophers remain to be Plato and Bhudda. I follow the Baha'i faith out of conviction, and live to help make the world one place for all with no boundaries. I believe duty comes before love.
