I have been writing ever since I can remember hearing a pencil scratch across a piece of paper. As an abused child I read a lot to escape and I wrote to release. I still write to release, but now I find I read to gain knowledge instead of escape. Knowledge is power if utilized effectively.
I started to seriously write back in 2001, when I began my spiritual path, which is as a seeker of truth, Druidic and Shamanic. Some of my poetry reflects my findings as I have traveled this long trail of seeking the truth and finding truth in the oddest places.
My totem spirit is the Grizzly Bear, with earth red hair and amber eyes. He has always been a part of my life, ever since I can remember having a memory. The Dragon of Cobalt Blue is my spirit guide and whom I aspire to be as a spirit of light and energy.
I am heavily influenced by William Shakespear, as I fell madly and passionately in love with his words at the tender age of thirteen. I am also an avid fan of Edgar Allen Poe and my favorite poets are song writers who use their poetry to make music and to make social statements about all the injustice they observe in this sad world we call home.
I love to write. I live to write. Some day I will die to write! lol...
