As a child Amelie Rose left the UK with her family to live in beautiful New Zealand. As an adult she has traveled extensively; her favourite countries are France and England. Her short stories have been published in Australian and UK magazines and she is currently working on her 4th novel, set in the UK and rural France. Her base, with her husband (also from the UK), is a pretty waterfront cottage on the north island's popular Hibiscus Coast. She says, "I credit my parents (a teacher and a radio personality) and a Canadian English teacher for my love of language and literature and my husband (a global wanderer) for the passion for travel I have developed since we met.
"I have been studying the craft of writing ever since my early teens and am truly grateful for a life that allows me to be doing what I so love."
