"I am here, tearing down the gates of your reality, but as I do and you tremble, realize that you are released from the fears that imprison you." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Like the beat of a shaman’s drum, our will resounds within us only wanting to be heard. When we dance to its beat, we find ourselves on the path of realization." -Divinity Divinity

Background Information

Graduating from the school of hard knocks, Jessica has always been one to dive face first into the fray of the world, experiencing everything she can, but at a young age learned to mentally remove herself from everything she experiences so she can observe what is going on, learn from it, seek understanding and then application.

"All the knowledge in the world is useless without understanding, and understanding useless without application." -Jessica

In her experiences, she lives gleefully as a child and reminds others to do the same.

"Seek yourself, yes.  Do it diligently. But don't forget to laugh along the way and be a bit obnoxious.  Child like wonder is one of the most precious things you can hang on to.  "

She was taken away from her mother at age 5 and then went through foster homes where she was victim to physical and sexual abuse before being adopted by a "well off" family at age 8. She returned to her biological mother at age 16, and was on the streets at 17. She worked her way (and her boyfriend's) off the street, became pregnant, and left him to pursue a better life.

And, a better life is what she got.

“I have lived many lifetimes in this body, been many people, seen many sights, and heard many sounds. Every morn’ I arise and feel the fog clear as I ponder that it is the day of my making, but also my unmaking.”

Jessica's Life: Take 2

Jessica served The Quadrangle at Jefferson Community College(www.quadrangleonline.com) as editor-in-chief, managing editor, advertising manager, staff writer, columnist, cartoonist, staff photographer, webmaster, and in layout and design for close to two years.

She has written news articles, feature stories, reviews, poetry, ad copy, and press releases. She has written and is pursuing publication on several children's books and has written one feature length screenplay.

Combining her writing talent with her love for performing arts, she has also performed stand up comedy in New York, D.C., Maryland, Kentucky, Indiana and Virginia, and written and performed sketch comedy for her own cable access television show. Her background in performing arts has also given her the opportunity to work on many theatrical productions and films, both in front of and behind the camera. She also enjoys photography, painting, singing and dancing.

"We are all on a path of discovery. Explore yourself, know yourself, and love yourself! To do this completely, it means exploring, knowing and loving others."

More commonly known to her friends as "Gypsie", "Divinity" or "Fairchylde", Jessica has spent her life dancing to the beat of her own drum, and has taken it upon herself to encourage others' to do the same.

She says,

"While a unique individual may be one who dances to the beat of their own drum, a shaman is one whose drum beats so loudly that others have no choice but to hear it and find themselves tapping their foot or completely emerged, lost in the dance."

She is currently spending her time pursuing her career as a freelance writer, raising her beautiful son, obtaining her bachelor's degree in business management.Check her writing out, or do your own writing, at associated content.com http://www.associatedcontent.com/content.cfm?content_type=user&content_type_id=3328
