My major influences are not LSD or the 60's - I was just a little too young for that. And I could never understand where Sr. Mary Ignatius in 8th grade English was coming from, when she said, "Uncross your legs! Only 'bad' girls cross their legs!" So perhaps it is life itself - with all its suprise wonders and suprise horrors, with it's glory and it's sadness - that have influenced me and my writing. Movies like "Loggerheads" by Tim Kirkman. Books like "Ten Thousand Sorrows" by Elizabeth Kim or "Beggars and Choosers" by Rickie Solinger.

My younger sister once got the "potty mouth" award in her sorority. I was a GDI - "God Damned Independent" - so I never achieved such an award. But it doesn't mean I don't deserve one.

I hope to be writing many articles and "wowwing" my "readers". I am ultimately interested in having fun with it, although as we know "the pen is mightier than the sword." Like Lenny Bruce "bringing it all out in the open" by using words that were verboten, I hope to discuss topics that are...taboo.
