My first official collection of poetry "The Composer" will be published by Publish America at the beginning of 2005. Official release date is January 1,2005. The have been many poems from the book featured in literary journals and magazines. The poems, "Paradise", "I Am","Corners of America", "All I Have", "Wooden Rocking Chair","You've Got The Right One" (A Tribute To Ray Charles), "Music To My Ears", "Momma Bought Me A Trumpet",were all poems featured from the collection. "The Composer" features poetry inspired by musical greats throughout this century. "The Composer" features poetry inspired by Marvin Gaye, Billie Holidae, Sting, Janice Joplin, Judy Garland, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and Al Green. You will also find poetry inspired by two of the greatest poets of our time Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou. There are also dedications to Ray Charles, Aaliyah Haughton and Ronald Regan. As soon as I have a release date for "The Composer" I will let all of my readers know.
