Stephen King's novel 'Salem's Lot was my first real inspiration. I still collect King's novels and see him as the most important writer working today.
My influences have grown broader as I've furthered my education. I have much more respect for the classics now; Thomas Hardy's The Mayor of Casterbridge is a favorite, along with the works of all the Romantics.
I completed several novels in high school and did not let college slow my output. As a sophomore at Arkansas State, I published Sisters with Publish America. This was followed less than two years later by a short novella called The Romance Murders.
The line by my picture perfectly describes me. I'm just another English major trying to get a break. My writing has changed since I published Sisters in 2003; I'm working on several projects and will pursue a publisher for the one I'm most proud of.
