... the dualities of being Stormphobic
and a StormSpinner ...

Picture:  reds, yellows, greens
on the radar screen:  might
be pretty, but tell that
to those living under
the swirling color, black:.....

From, "Extreme Home (Re)MakeOvers"
*

The Bizzness of Storm
IS my business:
all I know.  My whole
live revolves around
them:  hunted/hunting.
Pursued/pursuing:....

From, "Storm --- Chased!"

*
Used to the room going black,
spinning, as if the storm
reversed itself back into
my bed.  Lightning flashes
oneonethousandtwoonethou --
never reach three before
the Howling screams me awake ...

From, "The Howling"

Don't Have To Chase ...

... storms find me, following me into
my own backyard, searching for the
entryway to the cellar of my fear,
hidden deep within.  Telling them to
go away does no good:  they'll laugh
in my face with moisture-laden
breath and continue to beat at the
door.  I stand on the other side,
pushing against the forces wanting
in.  They are stronger; feet slipping;
can't hold on much longer.  Eyes snap
open like shutters to greet the ... sun?

There are many I must thank here at
AD for thir unending support, prayer
and inspiration.

I'd list you all, but then you would
never get through reading my bio!

Besides:  give an aging Poet a break:
the old memory's not as it used to be.

My Trackers:  you are ever faithful in
reading, reviewing, leaving your mark
on my heart.

I pray I never disappoint you.

My family.  Always.

Everyone at ST, LHW and HCW.

ANYone who's ever read my words or
stopped by my little corner of the Den:
thank you.  God bless!

LIKE TO BE TREATED.
TO BE PUBLISHED (again and again
and again and...LOL)

Thank you, one and all, for taking
a moment to read these scribblings
from the heart.
