Author Bio:

I was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 1st, 1969. After leaving Brooklyn, my mother moved us into the confined projects of Harrisburg PA where I learned to pay attention to what the world had to offer poor folk. NOTHING! Anyway, I lived in the P-Funk (that's what we called our projects) for 15 years of my life, and all I could think about was getting out of there. I enlisted in the Army just before my eighteenth birthday only to be shipped off to Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC for basic training after receiving my high school diploma. After completing my training, I began my bid—yes I said bid, for I belonged to the government, to Uncle Sam, the U S of A—where I traveled to many places; places I thought I would never ever see and I appreciated the opportunity given to me to experience them. After giving birth to my son and after serving 8 years, I decided in 1996 to leave the military. I worked different jobs and then in August 2003 I moved to Rochester NY to be with a love interest. I’ve always enjoyed writing but I never actually thought about writing a book until recently when I started getting positive reviews from friends and others I’ve met through networking. I am aspiring to be an accomplished, established and respected author.
