My life has become more meaningful with the fragrance of friendship and poetry within the circle of my AD family. Thank you for stopping by, your time is valued and greatly appreciated. Come back soon!

Background Information

As an only daughter to a midclass couple, life wasn't so difficult, but as a young mother at 19, difficulties became experiences. Joys became good memories. That's when I began writing. Starting at daily personal journals and later turning some into poems triggered by all kinds of emotions. Very ordinary and normal but would like to share them with you anyway.

Birth Place
Cateel, Davao Oriental,  Philippines

I studied and finished a course on 'Selected Software Tools and Techniques for Computer Applications Development' at the Regional Computer Center, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. I was trained at the Center, worked as an Intern and later on in 2004, I was hired as a Program Assistant under the Dean's Office of the AIT Extension. I received my Certificate of Professional Development on April 30, 2004 awarded by the Dean of AIT Extension. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and earned my certificate from the International School of Practical Nursing in 2001 in Manila, Philippines.

Additional Information

I was part of a team of workshop organizers, headed by the Asian Development Bank Institute and the Asian Institute of Technology, of the International Training Course on Increasing Stakeholder Participation using ICT held on 19-24 July 2004 in Bangkok, Thailand. I also assisted the AIT Extension team in organizing a Training Workshop on Capacity Building for Developing National Agricultural Information Systems (NAIS) of Cambodia, Laos, Mynmar, Bhutan, Timor Leste, Mongolia and Vietnam held on 3-12 August 2004 in Bangkok, Thailand. As an Intern at the Regional Computer Center (RCC) in AIT, I wrote part of the User's Guide for the Bhutan Civil Registration System, an application software product developed by the RCC, Asian Institute of Technology. In College, I studied Mass Communications and worked part time as a Proofreader for the Visayan Herald, a once leading daily in Cebu City, Philippines. In 2003, I was part of a committee assigned to compile, contribute and lay out the Centennial Book of Cateel, Davao Oriental, which celebrated 100th year as a town on October 29, 2003. As of this writing, the book has been printed and published and is now in the Philippine National Library.
