I came to the Lord in 1999 while attending college for paralegal studies. I've always had a burning desire to help God's people with an emphasis on those that the Bible classifies as having 'no voice'. Psalm 82:3 Defend the rights of the poor and the orphans; be fair to the needy and the helpless.
As a domestic violence and rape survivor and counselor my heart has always gone out to women who are in this situation. My passion is geared towards helping children of this type of situation gain the confidence within themselves to know that love does not mean hurt.
Since my ordination and licensing in 2004 I have maintained a pulpit ministry, outreach program for women and children, volunteered in various homeless feeding programs and I am an advocate for children with developmental dissabilities this ministry is dear to my heart because my grand daughter has autism.
I also maintain several websites that have many referral contacts if you have witnessed a violent situation or you may be in one. Please feel free to click on the referral links and see if you can use any of those services. My main concentration these days are writing ,encouraging and also counseling.
On the various websites you can also find words of encouragement, prophetic wisdom, bible studies and a place for poetry. I am a published author and I also write inspirationals, and poetry! I now reside in California with my oldest daughter and my son and yes my inspiration, Melody Grace who brought about the book I wrote due to the fact that she is autistic and really loves to hear about the Lord.
I am pastor of Center Mark Ministries, and also writer for His Heart Is My Pen, Inspirations. I am in the process at this present time of gathering together women for another ministry called Women of Power which is a monthly newsletter and support group for women to share their testimonies and also help those women out there that may need a word of knowledge in their own situtaion.
I hope to always be involved with women of domestic violence, advocacy and counseling. I am working on my BA in ministerial counseling with Apostle Dr. Anita McLaughlin of God's Generals International Ministry Training Center, and I am looking forward to all that the Lord still has in store for me and in this next season. I adore the written word and I also love to write messages that inspire others to fall in love with It, and I have a passion for all of God's people!
