I'm so SIKED about the success LOVE AGAIN has had so far this year.....
Sophia Simmons is a native of Pasadena, California now living in the Mohave Desert of Arizona. She has studied creative writing, journalism, and telecommunications, but has found her heart to lie in real to life drama, romance, and poetry. In addition to marketing and promoting her debut novel, “Love Again”, she is currently working on book two in her “Reality Love Series” and also “Caressing the Wind”, which is a tender collection of poetry focusing on love, passion, heartbreak, and healing.
For over ten years Sophia remained in a marriage that began to guide her life down a path of destruction and despair. Instead of being beaten down by those unfortunate years and sometimes unbearable circumstances, she strives to keep her eyes off of her own struggles and continues to pour herself into her writing and those in need around her. In her experience she has participated and volunteered in teen ministries, groups for co-dependency, in shelters, missions, and is currently volunteering as a victims rights advocate. All fueling her desire to write for those who have suffered abuse.
Growing everyday in her love of people and her passion for writing, Sophia makes every effort to get the word out about making healthier choices in relationships to prevent abuse. Speaking at workshops, women's coalitions and many other venue's providing education about domestic violence, and applicable life tools for better choices. Other of her publications can be found in Alive Magazine at, www.alivemagonline.com and www.breatheagainmagazine.com
With a love of God in heart, it has become her soul's purpose to inspire anyone who will listen, it is her sound belief that you can heal and life can be lived to the full, no matter what has happened in the past.

My life and writing inspiration:
I love the books of The Bible, there are no better books of perfection or wisdom.
Alice Walker, Maya Angelou, Dr. Bernie Siegel, Stormie Omartin, Walter Mosley, Ellen Sussman,Toni Morrison, Kyle Smith and a host of other great authors have inspired me.
Most of all. I am inspired by the pain and hopelessness I see in the eyes of those who have suffered abuse.
