I consider myself, first and foremost, a songwriter. However many times the words are less suitable as lyrics and work better as poems. Sometimes I write for the sheer challenge of trying to express myself in a more taut, creative way than a lyric allows. I'm sure, just as in pop music, there is little new under the sun and we are all derivative to some extent or other. However, I offer these works, for what they're worth, for your perusal and hopefully, enjoyment.
