My background is rather eclectic. I began my professional career as a youth director for Young Life International. I worked in that ministry for almost nine years before moving into a full time assistant pastor position at a Presbyterina Church.
After working passionately in the ministry, my passion for education increased, and I decided to pursue a doctoral degree. Our family moved from Memphis, TN to Altanta GA, where I entered the field of public education. Soon thereafter, I completed a doctoral degree in education.
It has now been seven years since I entered public education, and I am extremely proud of my decision. It is a calling, and every bit of the field fits my personality.
I began writing as a means to communicate with other educators and the world the importance of the field of Education. So many times, the education field is not esteemed or valued in our American culture. My book confronts this issue, and provides inspiration and motivation to the most influential people in the world --teachers.
This is a great read, and can be read time and time again.
