I am the author of "Swish: Maria in the Mourning," which now has 32 five-star reviews on Amazon. The performance version of the same title can be glimpsed on YouTube. As a theater piece, "Swish: Maria in the Mourning," received stellar reviews as well due to its universal appeal which deals with every aspect of the human condition.

Background Information

As a playwright I have produced 5 full length two-act comedic plays, and written numerous skits for cabaret productions in Westchester County and New York City.

My sixth play, "Swish: Maria in the Mourning: The Monologues,"  the performance version of my published book, can be glimpsed on YouTube.

I have a B.A. in Literature and Theater(magna cum laude) and a M.A.T. in Secondary English Education, both from Manhattanville College.

I have been teaching every component of the language arts curriculum to students of all ages since 1985.

1989 recipient of The Margaret Williams Award for Literary Criticism for "Moll and Tom: The Forgotten Children in Eighteenth Century Literature."

Additional Information

My newest work is my non-fiction literary memoir, "Swish: Maria in the Mourning," which chronicles a mother's mourning process after losing her only child to a heroin overdose at 23.
