Celia Cooper is a gypsy who's found a home by using her extensive travel as background for her books.

Background Information

First child of a career Marine, Celia always made up stories to keep herself entertained. The one constant in all the places she moved was the library. A love affair with books began early and continues today. Her mother encouraged her reading. The Diet Coke contest was a way to express to her terminally ill father-in-law her deepest desire for him to have one more "normal" day. Winning the contest opened the floodgates of writing and it hasn't stopped.

With three romance titles, Celia decided to branch out. She also writes as C. L. Kraemer and has nine titles from three publishers under that name. Her current novel, Shattered Tomorrows, a novel based on a real life incident which occurred in Salem, Oregon, May 7, 1981, is doing well in print and as an ebook.

Second novel-Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Mazatlan, follows Detective Corey Williams as he pursues a fugitive into Mexico with a Harley riding, brash flame haired Amazon reporter. Third novel - If Only takes a trip to Tampa, Florida, where widow Barbara Langely and her best friend Rachel Painter are vacationing after Barbara's youth giving surgeries. She would have happily traded in the surgeries (put in the will of her recently deceased husband) to spend her years with her husband but now that she looks 30 again, she'll go to Florida and revisit her old haunts. A young man, intrigued by her youthful looks and wise attitude, enters the picture as well as a love lost from her college years. She has to make a decision that will change her life. Can she do it? Fourth novel - Cats in the Cradle of Civilization (written as C. L. Kraemer) will be out in December 2008. Glenda Nagle has to figure out how to return the ancient ivory figurine of Bastet, the cat goddess, to the Getty Museum where she works. Her first response is to just take it back to the new Antiquities Director but will he think she's stolen it? How could an ancient Egyptian artifact find its way to her Juniper Hills, Ca. home? This is a puzzle she must solve quickly before she gets herself tossed in jail or worse.

Mount St. Helen's erupted in 1980 changing the perception of "dormant" volcanoes to everyone in the NorthWest and beyond. They would soon realize that was not all that would be changed. Aleda Moisen was determined to debunk the Bigfoot myth by camping in the forests around the blown out mountain. What she discovered made Bigfoot look like a poor Hollywood stunt gone bad. How could there be dragons living in the woods all these years and no one know about it? Cyre Drake would answer her questions all in good time. Released October 2002, Cyre Drake, by C.L. Kraemer, is part of an anthology of fantasy tales collected in the "Enchanted Realms II" anthology.
