Kim was born in Springerville, AZ and first became interested in writing when she was in Jr. High School at Prescott, AZ. She wrote about everything; from science-fiction to mysteries. She loves writing and is fascinated by the process. She laughs when she tells about a literature teacher that she had in school..."She told me I had a very fertile and over-active imagination. "She was being nice. But she told me that I should be a writer and I took it as positive encouragement instead of criticism. She was right though, what else could I be?"
Kim didn't get too serious about writing until after her daughter was born and she needed an outlet for post-natal depression. Her daughter is an adult & married now and collaborates with her on her books. Her husband Mikey [married since September 1979] has always tried to get her to do something with her writing, except collect dust-bunnies on the shelf. It wasn't until she reached 30 yrs. old that she realized that if she didn't kick herself mentally in the pants and get serious about writing, she was always going to be a 'Jack of all trades and master of none.'
Kim has done some articles for her local RWA chapter newsletter and book reviews, but tries to stay focused on what she really wants to do, write novels.
Kim now resides in New Mexico with her husband, 1 cat & 3 dogs. When she isn't writing, loves to make jewelry. She admits to having a shelf with several dusty manuscripts sitting on it, that she will one day get down and do something with...If her peanut M&M's hold out that long.
