I graduated from Kings College, London with an English degree and MA in 19th Century Literature. I went on to work in feature film production, where projects included Bridget Jones's Diary and Tomb Raider, before pursuing writing full-time. Having attained a distinction from the UEA Creative Writing MA, I now tutors students in Literature and Creative Writing for the Open University whilst working on her next book. My first novel 'The Separate Principle' was published this year.

Set in the shadow of the Second World War, 'The Separate Principle', is the haunting story of Lillian, Leonard and Freddie confined to a tuberculosis hospital on the Isle of Wight. The narrative from their three very different perspectives gathers palpable tension to reveal the full extent of what happened behind those closed walls. Secrets and lies ready to be blown apart by the declaration of war.
