Lynette Pierce was born and raised in Fresno, California. There she attended Fresno State University of Fresno and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. Soon after she moved to Star Valley, Wyoming, which is just south of world famous Jackson Hole. However she returned to her California home in December, 2006, where she lives with her Yorkshire Terrier, Chloe.
True to her romantic nature, she loves watching the sun set and cuddling up to a warm fire on chilly evenings. Also, having spent a lot of time in the Sierra Nevada Mountains as a child, she has retained her love of the great outdoors. She also enjoys singing and playing her piano, as well as most crafts including knitting and crochet.
Lynette was selected as the 2009 January Featured Author of the Month by Booklockerbooks.com. Additionally, she periodically travels to the San Francisco Bay Area for book signings, as well as participating in the canned food drive for the Salvation Army and the "Meals on Wheels for Campanion Animals" program for the Ohlone Humane Society. Her first novel, "Crystal of My Heart," not only won the Editor's Choice Award, but also the Reader's Choice Award by IUniverse. On June 12, 2009, this book will be released by the author in an audio book format. Currently she is working on her next novel which will be titled, "Reflection of My Heart."
