My character came to life in my grandson as he is the true High Pockets. He used to grab on his

back pockets and pull them up a little too high so that his pants did not touch his shoes before

he started to run all over the house.

My grandson is getting ready to start kindergarten, as he prefers to stay home with his mommy,

As his grandmother, I created a short story to make learning more fun and exciting for him.

I have also been a pre k teacher, and most children I have discovered prefer to stay with their

moms. My inspiration comes from listening to the children at school, at play, and of course, my grandchildren are my biggest fans.

Carolyn Marsden is my biggest help and she is the reason I did not give up, she saw a talent in me I did not see in myself.

So thanks to her I am on my way.
