Laura Fabiani holds a degree in Special Care Counseling and has worked as a psychiatric child counselor and as a special education technician at various institutions. She holds a diploma in Writing for Children and Teenagers and an advanced certificate in TESOL from the Canadian Institute of English.
She launched www.nouveauwriter.com, an online resource for new and aspiring writers. The ezine covers topics on writing, English grammar, vocabulary building and publishing and marketing.
She owns a translation business, mainly translating medical documents from French to English.
Laura's writing is influenced by her family life, her Italian culture, her faith, the books she loves to read, and anything new she explores and in which she gets involved.
She lives with her husband and two children in Montreal, Quebec where she teaches, translates and gives workshops.
