Susan Borkin, M.A. is a licensed psychotherapist, author and speaker. In her practice she provides psychotherapy, coaching and training for people who are interested in using writing as part of their healing, growth or transformation.
She also coaches and trains in the use of the personal journal.
Additionally, she works with stuck writers to address the emotional and psychological blocks encountered in the process of writing (i.e. writer’s block, fear or trauma related to self-expression). For reluctant, new and aspiring writers as well as veteran writers who have gotten off track, she provides structure and support in writing basics and accountability.
Books I have authored:
When Your Heart Speaks, Take Good Notes: The Healing Power of Writing
"By your own hand with paper and pen, or by Grace itself, I wish you much healing on your journey."
–from “When Your Heart Speaks…”
Writing from the Inside Out: Using a Personal Journal for Growth and Transformation
“The journal has been the thread that has served to keep me sewn together when it felt as if my life was coming apart at the seams.”
–from “Writing from the Inside Out”
