People have asked where my depth of knowledge as a writer of books on Egypt comes from. The answer - from a lifetime spent studying ancient Egypt and Egyptian archaeology and from numerous research trips to Egypt.

I'm fascinated by the mystery of ancient Egypt and its potency and relevance for today's world.

I spent much of my life in Africa and now live in Australia where as a Creative Director and copywriter I have written internationally recognised advertising campaigns for various causes, charities and brands.
