Background Information

"I have the greatest job, because its also my hobby." An avid Revolutionary War reenactor who portrays British, as well as American interpretation, Chief Interpreter/Assistant Educator and now Executive Director at Fort Mifflin on the Delaware, a Historical Landmark in Philadelphia. Lee takes his love of history seriously and it comes out in his writing.

My last book was published in 2000 and entitled: "Forgotten Patriot -The Life and Times of Major-general Nathanael Greene." The biography of the Revolutionary War's second greatest leader. Now available at any bookseller by special order or available online at, or I am presently working on a manuscript on "William H. Howe." A Civil War Union soldier that was arrested for desertion and murder and was executed in August 1863 at Fort Mifflin. I hope to have the manuscript completed by summer 2010. My first book was "Forty Minutes by the Delaware" is about the Battle of Fort Mercer (also known as the Battle of Red Bank)which also delves into the lives of the Whitall Family, owners of the land that Fort Mercer is located and was built on. It also looks into the lives of Quakers in the Delaware Valley, as well as the camplife of an American revolutionary soldier and fighting techniques of the Hessian army.
