Brent Clay has served in many areas of ministry as a teacher, mentor and special guest speaker. He shares the gospel in a very real and practical way, breaking down key principles and tackling hard questions.
Inspired by his personal life-long pursuit of truth and encouraged by others, Brent has written Faith Without Nonsense with hopes that it will help others in their own pursuits of the truths of God. Brent and his wife, Virginia, live in Olathe, Kansas, and have two sons. He is currently working on his next book.
Besides being an author and speaker, Brent is also an accomplished musician. He plays tenor, alto and soprano Selmer Paris saxophones, and can often be heard playing in Kansas City-area churches or as a studio musician.
Brent enjoys hobbies like watching NFL football, movies and listening to music. He is an avid and well-rounded reader, enjoying both fiction and non-fiction books on subjects ranging from technology to biblical studies, from Mark Twain to science fiction. Some of his favorite authors are Stephen R. Donaldson, Arthur C. Clarke, and Bart D. Ehrman.
Brent also likes to ride bicycles and motorcycles. He grew up in the Midwest and enjoys motocross races, biking with his boys, and taking his wife for long afternoon rides on his cruiser.
