Being a third-generation motivational speaker & encourager, I am truly walking in my gifting. I come from a family of fine-tuned people. Having traveled the world, I have had the opportunity to be in many social and professional settings. These experiences have taught me what works and what doesn't. One of my concerns is for people to be successful and happy throughout their life. So I spend a lot of time encouraging others. Part of me seeing other people successful is to offer advice and to help others view situations in a more open and diverse way.
My first book, Sister Girl you can't do that at work - Corporate etiquette for women of color, is a must-read for any woman (not just women of color) who are in the workplace. You will learn so much and the book is such an easy read. I know women have short amounts of time to read, so I carefully designed the book with power-packed tidbits of wisdom. The book covers how to handle co-workers, your managers role in your job, and your professional attire. You will definintely find many pointers that you can use immediately to strengthen your position in the business arena.
