It is my fundamental belief that the highest purpose of mankind is to create beauty. The purpose of the arts is to raise humanity to the pinnacle of its potential and literature is the most sublime of all arts.
This world and those beyond it are all illusions. There is incredible power in knowing and understanding the occult science behind that illusion. Mastering that power, even a small part of it, makes possible what seems impossible to the masses.
Books have always been my greatest treasures. Those who write books, many of them long passed from this plane, have been among my greatest friends and teachers.
There is no more noble profession than writing. Writers have done more to change the world than kings, politicians and soldiers, by influencing the minds of men. like all power, the influence of the pen can be used for good purposes or evil ones.
