When I tell people I grew up in North Dakota, they often say, "That's a good state to be FROM!" But I look at it another way--my education was solid, I learned a great sense of values, and I associated with great people. I built on that foundation by getting a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, teaching in California State Universities for 31 years, marrying a wonderful woman and HELPING her raise three children. From these I derive motivation and encouragment.

My most recent works is a novel about a girl growing up with her single parent father who is a green beret soldier. It is titled CINDY'S SECOND CHANCE. Before that came YOUNG VIKINGS, an historical romance, featuring, you guessed it--two teenage Vikings who grow up together and eventually join Leif Erikson in colonizing North Ameraica in Newfoundland. And before that was a mystery novel titled HELP,KELP.MURDER OFF CARMEL BEACH. It features a criminolist and a scuba diving buddy who find a student diver lost in the kelp beds of California, note suspicious circumstances at the dive scene and set out to find the MURDERER.
