I write to help those who are grieving the loss of a loved one and to help the people who come alongside grievers who are unsure of what to say or do to help. I noticed a great need in this capacity when my father died of skin cancer when I was only 20-years-old. I saw our family unaware on how to cope and friends try to help but, inadventently hurt us. I found out from others that these types of experiences after any significant loss are about universal, hence, my writing began.
