Like most artist I know, I do what I do (write) because I enjoy it. I asked a painter friend of mine where her work came from, her head, her heart, where? She said from her heart, she feels it, she paints it. What I write comes from my head, I gather. When I lay down to sleep at night my characters are the last things/people I think about. When I wake in the morning, they are the first on my mind. And when I walk through my day, they walk with me. They tell me who they are and what they will and will not do. If I write it wrong they nag at me until I get it right. Artist do what they do because they love doing it. Payment is grand, a lovely thing. But most true artist will continue to do what they do, to create, whether they get paid or not. That is why I do what I do. And I believe I do it well. So hey, check it out and see for yourself.
