Judith was born in Wales, trained as a Registered Nurse and emigrated to Canada to work as a nurse about 50 years ago.
She entered an Anglican convent in 1964 and was a nun for 16 years. In 1980, she left the convent and returned to work as an R. N. in a hospital setting.
In 1990, Judith retired from nursing in order to get her writing career underway. She took some correspondence courses on writing; wrote articles for local newspapers and Canadian magazines; she had short stories and poems published in anthologies.
She has two non-fiction books oriented to prayer published, one book of mystical poetry, and one book of short stories.Judith is currently working on two other non-fiction works.
She lives a contemplative life-style and spends daily time in spiritual reading, prayer and meditation. She intercedes for others.
Judith is a member of The Word Guild, a Canadian Christian Writers' Group, where she was the Prayer Team Coordinator for two years. She has just taken on the task of coordinator of TWG Authors Blog.
